Helping Our Heroes Heal

We provide guidance, coaching and financial support to veterans and first responders suffering from traumatic brain injuries and mental health conditions.

Mission

Frontline Focus Foundation’s mission is to support suffering veterans and first responders by providing a pathway of healing rooted in holistic wellness, mindfulness, meditation and plant medicine. Frontline helps those struggling by offering meditation training, sponsoring plant medicine retreats, guiding post journey integration and referring care for mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI). When combined, mindfulness meditation and plant medicine have incredible healing power. These two modalities work synergistically in such a way that allows the brain to rewire, the stress response system to recalibrate, and the heart to open.

Chris’s Healing Journey

Chris Kimbrell, the founder of Frontline Focus Foundation, medically retired from the Navy after 19 years and 12 combat deployments. In 2020, Chris retired from service and began his transition into civilian life. Chris’s extensive military career caused numerous mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI) and debilitating PTSD which spiraled into substance abuse, depression, anxiety and suicidal ideations. After being treated at one of the nation’s top neurological institutes, Chris found himself prescribed a myriad of pharmaceutical drugs that weren’t helping. As his health continued to decline, Chris began down the natural medicine path. Psychedelic medicine ignited radical change and significantly altered the course of Chris’s life. In addition to plant medicine, Chris’s meditation practice and brain-hormone optimization protocol have offered him a path to wellness.

Thanks to his healing journey, Chris attended Harvard Business School and graduated in 2022. In addition to his work at Harvard, Chris has been dedicated to working with natural medicines, building a meditation practice and serving others through his work as a meditation teacher and transformational life coach.

Take Action

From 2001 - 2019, 5,440 service members were killed in action. During the same time frame, approximately 115,000 veterans ended their own lives by suicide. In other words, a veteran was more than 21-times more likely to die of suicide than a soldier was to be killed in combat.

Recent data suggests the daily veteran suicide rate jumped to 44 deaths per day in 2022. Assuming each suicide brings six first responders to the scene, these horrible tragedies affect around 308 people each day, veterans and first responders included.

Donations are 100% tax deductible and go directly to helping veterans and first responders begin their healing journey.
